mental block
im after a part but cant remember the name i want to make up an extended gear shift so need that piece that is a bit of rod with a left hand thread at one end and a right hand thread at the other and none in the middle that has a rose joint either end so you can adjust the length of it i cant look it up coz i can think of the name and round the circle goes... goes where this bit of threaded rod is taped in if my explaination was crap...

Gear linkage? Best bet is to get to your friendly engineers suppliers and get a couple of M6 rose joints (heim joints), a bit of 6mm round stainless and a M6 die. The rose joints will both be RH thread. Tha's wha' I did for me back brake but I used a clevis instead.
