Just to ressurect this thread a bit Sumo. What make of lid was that from Justified Defiance? What size was it and how's it compare to UK sizes(57,58 etc). I won a peach of a vintage bottle green Arthur Fulmer on ebay for a steal. About £50. Auction ended on the 30th April and still no lid. I paid for air freight - 5-8 days but they've either sent it surface or not at all. Entered into a dispute with them but no response as yet. What a fuckin bore. Sooo, I thought I'd go for a Buco poly flake, really small shell. Cool. But don't want to spend them shamolies if it doesn't fit. Cheers Johnny

they are a little small if you get it from justified deffiance they have sizes on their ads that say what size means in real numbers - typically my size falls bang on the top limit of their med. so i went for it and its snug - so id say if you go by the size chart they have and not the large medium thing then youll be cool oh - mine is a buco fiberglass i think with a light flake its not a super thin lid if thats what you want but a hell of a lot thinner than our normal helmet fare over here

just had a thought johnny - biltwell are getting some new helmets made up basically a repop buco so brand new lining / shell and they are doing metal flakes too i think they are getting them in about a month or so and will be about $80 i think if the quality of the rest of their stuff is anything to go by then they will be class

I had my name down for one of the buco's offered by vtwin on JJ, but nothing came of it so I bought a Davida instead. I suffer from a huge melon and tall forehead so most open faces leave me with an inch gap above my monobrow... ;) Sumo are you gonna have it with you at the nats? Can I have a looky if so please?
