New Lurker Evening all...
picked up on the forum from Sumo's sig on JJ...
At the mo I have to own up to not having a chop...though I have a project ready to donate to a rigid...I yearn to own a unit triumph, and when I;ve got enough £ together I'll get one...for now though I run a cafe styled kwak twin every day and starting a 94 speed triple cafe project.
Got two TR1's in a barn, one is going chop and one is going street/strip...but first I must build a shed in which to build em!
Anyhow...I'll lurk and admire from afar...
cheers

all you need to do is store the bikes outside and build a bike in the barn - problem solved....
welcome over here by the way - where are you at?

A good plan...with only 2 minor flaws as kryten may have said...
one- the barn isn't mine sadly and is being 'converted' in easter. Add to that that its 20 miles away and if I go there I end up working on my mates new trophy for him...
The plan is to have a workshed built at home by easter thus allowing me all the time in the world to get building.
I'm in south wales by the way, near pontypool.
Thanks for having me.

Tom,
Welcome and good luck with the workshop construction, a buddy of mine is having the same problems, I'm trying to rev him up as he will have loads of space and once finished he'll be able to store all my projects for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He doesn't know this yet !

Aye,my problem has been going from a rented house with a single garage in south lincs, to having to empty it and move down to wales, storing the bikes in a mates unit up there, then getting em down to another mates barn whilst I rented another single garage house then buying the pad now with no garage, but a decent brick shed and a big enough space to build a 25x20' workshed..just gotta get the necessary together you know..it'll be worth it though...a warm heated shed with room for a frame jig..and engine bench..ooo and a small spray booth...

howdy Morning Tom
Used to do the run to Abergaveny on me sports bike before I got this bike building illness.
Do you go to the old bus station ( Abergaveny) of a Sunday? I haven't been there on my Harley as yet, was wondering if any like minded folk got round there or is it still over populated with rocket rice burners.
cafe_tom- 12-22-2006
Hey Mike,I use the bike every day,but if I'm feeling like it I run out through usk to chepstow, then on to tintern, then to monmouth and down to aber. Know a coupla old guys there from the local brit club who are good to chat to. There are still plenty of weekend warriors, and not just on race-reps...saw a freakin hideous v-rod there on sat..erk.
If you fancy a run out anytime let me know. Normally I just bowl along on my own, sometimes with a new trophy riding mate. Like-minded peeps are always welcome to chew the fat you know...
Madmike- 12-27-2006
runout If I can dig my bike out from the back of the garage Tom then I will drop you a pm.
Will be end of Jan at the earliest though.
