New venture
After 20 years in the same job working for the same company I am soon to give it all up and start something new. Basically I am going to be making stuff out of wood, mainly rocking horses but anything else I can hopefully make money out of. Not much wood on a 'chop (no pun intended) so far the only stuff I can think of are; laminated seat bases, hand shift knobs, wooden h'bar grips, tank bucks and solid wood seats (not sure about this one). If any of you guys can think of anything else or of course if anyone wants any of the above let me know. All the best Pete

there was a purple bike in bsh with a solid wood seata few months back - didnt like the bike but loved the seat a really hard wood kickpedal would be cool if you could find something strong enough that would live with the abuse would be funky good luck with it man - if that horse was anythng to go by you have some skills there man

Hood emblems (kinda go with the shift nob theme) Tiki heads, Door lock knobs (again usually tiki)... Good luck though hombre, nothing like sticking it to the man!

Have you thought about Luche Libre mask jockey shifters? Might work if you could get some of those lovely African hardwoods with the right grain pattern. You know, the ones that are almost black & white, real contrasty.

Cheers guys thanks for your help, I'm off to the workshop to carve a couple of Tiki head shift knobs will post pix soon. BTW Benny what're the rules on advertising/selling on this forum. Don't wanna put me size 14's in it!
