Oh I'd be interested if I had that kind of bread rolling around! What a beauty!! Watcha gonna do with the cash?

Moonshiners- 04-10-2007

it's my Ms' car in every sense of the word! Partly selling it because she just bought a daily thats a drop top, partly because of the new house ripping every spare piece of cash we have (worth it though) and she also wants to buy a boat - with a toilet! I got a little rib we fly around on, but it's a bit hardy when it gets rough so we may well end up buying something bigger with a cabin (and a V8) hehe... The porker is A1, and plenty of people want it it's just finding someone with that kind of coin at the right time... It's won best Porsche at every show it's entered... Sad to see it go, but too many toys n all....

O/T but I used to tear about on a 35' rib down on Ascension Island when I was in the mob. What a hoot! The best boat we had tho was a 26 foot ship to shore left over from Maggies little South Atlantic holiday. The original Petter 3 cyl diesel went pop so we ordered and fitted a new engine. 4.5 litre blown Volvo Penta V8 with a tilting Z drive. That thing moved. I also used to have shares in a 24' ski boat on Windermere till they introduced the 10mph speed limit and put the block on wakeboarding. 7.9 litre Mercruiser - what a sound! Then some stoner put it in to rocks after a party and nearly topped himself.

O/T Nice! Happened to look at one of the mercruisers on the weekened, dunno if we could afford to leave the harbour though! that said we may well get it's baby brother (5 litre)... I dig motorycles, but anything with a cool engine rocks!

I think the Kit Car show at Donnington is coming up soon , might be a thought to take it there and stick a for sale sign on her. We have took a lot of cars there over the years and always sold them or a least came back with a deposit. Just a thought.

thanks Neil, there's a classic car rally down her at the motor museum, will take it down there if it dosn't go in the next couple weeks, but thanks for the thought...
