its alright if you like that sort of thing.... which i really do - looks like a hoon to ride... goot luck with the mot man - from this weeks experiences they are all a shower of bastards thats one hell of a swing on that brake lever - you dont want to be banging that on round a corner mate - or is that your night time show piece withthe shower of sparks?? very very cool my man - look forwards to seeing it in the flesh

slowrider- 05-29-2007

Thanks man. Back brake??? It's not a problem. Got it set up real nice so it comes on with just a wee prod. I think the photo makes it look like it's stickin out more than it really does.

haha - not picking holes man - looks fukin cool you had it on the road yet? how does it go with your engine mods

slowrider- 05-29-2007

Feels a bit more pokey up and down the back lane but I get 'er MOt'd on Thursday so we'll see then. I don't reckon it'll be that noticeable 'till I've got 'er run in though, mostly top end power with the mods I've done.

Lovely lovely mate, looks really tidy. Oh and bugger you've got white footrests etc...I won't hold it against you. Just might have to rethink my plans. Lok forward to seeing it at the nats.

slowrider- 05-30-2007

Don't sweat it Tom. White is the new black - screw the naysayers!!!

sumo- 05-30-2007

pha... blacks the new black - always has been, always will be :)

cafe_tom- 05-30-2007

if i had white pegs and grips they'd be black in a week, cos i'm a messy barsteward dig the shiney ribbed fender, where did you get that then? crackin job there m8 8)

slowrider- 06-01-2007

Ebay find. About 75 bucks so not too dear when you consider I got a front 'clip on' for them wet rallies (and the MOT man) out of the off cut. Chrome's not too good and it's stamped original 'Wassel' and 'Made in England' which makes me wonder - NOS or Jap rip off? BTW, having a shake down run today and I shook my front sprocket off into the weeds. Guess where I'm going tomorrow with a borrowed metal detector???? Two words- "Loc" "Tite"!!!!

steve- 06-02-2007

reminds me of my shake down on the Triumph down Loch Ness side, lost my fancy stainless rear guard stay and a few assorted nuts and bolts

slowrider- 06-03-2007

Well I found it. Along with the nut and my sidestand spring and about 2 fucking tons of coke cans and old exhausts! Unfortunately the taper had taken a ding when it came off so it's back to the drawing board. Thankfully the sprocket shaft taper seems okay Get myself a new 45 sprocket to make a boss out of and then bore out a Triumph sprocket to fit. To be fair it was waaaay undergeared anyway so I'm gonna go up two teeth.

bloody hell! haven't had chance to get on here for a while but that is the coolest bike in the world ever... ever ever, top job jonny, i love it.
